Xbox Advisor is the AKIC site for Xbox players: game guides, hardware advice, and fixes that get you back into the match. Every article is written to be clear, accurate, and actionable.
Whether you are setting up a Series X, chasing an error code, or deciding what to play next, we publish practical Xbox help — not generic gadget roundups.
Who’s Behind Xbox Advisor
Xbox Advisor is published by Aseem Kishore, a computer scientist and tech writer who founded the AKIC network while working as a network administrator. What began as a way to share solutions to everyday IT problems quickly grew into a full-time pursuit.
Today, Aseem runs AK Internet Consulting, the parent company behind Xbox Advisor and its sister publications: Online Tech Tips, Help Desk Geek, The Back Room Tech, and Switching to Mac. Together, these sites reach over 7 million monthly pageviews.
With a B.S. in Computer Science from Emory University, a Cybersecurity degree, and over 15 years of experience building and operating tech websites, Aseem brings deep technical knowledge paired with a commitment to making technology accessible to everyone.
The AKIC Network
The AK Internet Consulting (AKIC) media network was created in 2007. Since then, we have published thousands of articles and enjoyed hundreds of millions of visitors. AKIC is independently owned and operated by its founder.
