Grounded Mint Mace | How to Get

Grounded is an open-world survival crafting title that has players exploring a massive wilderness, which is ironically their backyard. Taking notes from films like “Honey I Shrunk the Kids,” the game has players looking for a way to reverse their small predicament and survive the hostile creatures that were once harmless when they were small. To that, you’ll need weapons such as the Mint Mace. Fortunately, this equipment isn’t difficult to acquire once you know what’s needed.

How to Get the Mint Mace in Grounded

If you want to get your hands on the Mint Mace, you’re going to have to perform some prerequisites. The first thing you’re going to need to do is unlock the Mint Mace’s recipe. To do this, you’ll need to find the BURG.L Chip for the recipe. The location of the chip is on top of the picnic table, inside of the now life-sized Dungeon and Dragons Maze. Before you go in to reap its rewards, you’ll need the Minotaur Maze Key. Once you have that, you’ll have to go in and complete the maze to get the Picnic BURG.L Chip. This will unlock the recipe for purchase. You’ll also have to accumulate 2500 Raw Science if you want to actually craft the mace.

Once you have the recipe in your inventory, it’s time to get the materials to make the Mint Mace. For that, you’re going to need a few things. The first thing you’re going to need is five Mint Globs. This is made by mixing two Mint Shards and a Cool Tough Nugget in an oven.

Next, you’ll need five Flower Petals. To find these, you can head to the flower bed and cut down hosta plants, or even find them on the ground. Last, you’ll need Tough Gunk. Getting Tough Gunk requires you to fight specific enemies in the upper yard, enemies like Roly Poly’s Ladybirds, Black Ox Beetles, and even Termites. Once you’ve got 10 Tough Gunk, you can go to a workbench and craft the Mint Mace.

The Mace is the second strongest club weapon in the game, being only .5 damage less than the Club of the Mother Demon, found by using the remains of the Brood Mother. This makes it a very useful weapon if you want to take on enemies, and its ability to deal “Fresh” Damage allows it to take out specific enemies with ease. It’s also one of the few weapons that comes with a damage modifier, alongside the Salt Morning Star.
