It’s that time again when Microsoft shows off its plans for Xbox Game Pass for the month. With April now coming to a close, plenty of games are making their way onto the platform, while others are leaving. This month’s big release is Minecraft Legends, but other games from Xbox’s laundry list of studios are also making the jump. Here’s everything coming to Xbox Game Pass for April 2023!

April 2023 Xbox Game Pass Additions

Here’s everything coming to Xbox Game Pass for the second half of April, as revealed in the Xbox blog post.

• Minecraft Legends (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 18
• Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 20
• Medieval Dynasty (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 20
• Homestead Arcana (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – April 21
• Cassette Beasts (PC) – April 26
• BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 27
• The Last Case of Benedict Fox (Console and PC) – April 27

With Minecraft Legends leading the charge, already available day one for game pass owners, plenty more games are coming to the platform. However, in the blog post, another game has been mentioned to come out right at the beginning of next month. And it’s a big one.

May 2, 2023 Special Addition

• Redfall (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC)

Redfall from Arkane Studios is coming to Game Pass on Day One. Despite backlash from fans regarding the game’s performance on consoles, as well as its host-only progression, Arkane still plans on releasing the game on May 2.

April 2023 Game Pass Removals

With the addition of new games comes the removal of others. Some games can’t stay on Game Pass forever. Although, if you have these games in your game pass library, you will always be able to grab them at a discount until they go offline.

• Destroy All Humans! (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Tetris Effect: Connected (Console and PC)
• Unsouled (Cloud, Console, and PC)

With the removal of these games on April 30, there will be more to take their place. And thus the cycle continues for another month. Who knows what games May will hold for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers!
